Magic Sort Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 30, 2026

The short version

  • No account. We never ask for your name, email or phone number. Your progress, coins and settings are saved only on your device, and we never receive them.
  • Magic Sort shows ads from Google AdMob: a banner, full-screen ads and optional rewarded videos. To show and measure those ads, Google collects some device, usage and diagnostic data, and an approximate location from your IP address.
  • No tracking. Magic Sort never asks for permission to track you, so Google can't use your device's advertising identifier. In the UK, EEA and Switzerland, Google's consent message asks for your choice before any ads load.
  • Coin packs, the Starter Pack and Remove Ads are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.

This Privacy Policy explains how Apexa Pambhar ("we", "us") handles information in Magic Sort: Color Water Puzzle for iPhone ("Magic Sort", the "Game") and on this website. By playing the Game you agree to this policy.

1. Information stored on your device

The Game keeps a small save file on your device with your level, coins, tools, streaks and settings (such as haptics and colour symbols). It never leaves your device, and we cannot access it. Deleting the Game deletes this file. Your progress is not backed up or synced between devices.

The Game does not ask for access to your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.

2. No tracking

The Game does not ask for permission to track you (App Tracking Transparency), so Google cannot use your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA).

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The Game shows banner, interstitial (full-screen) and optional rewarded video ads provided by Google AdMob, through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. To show ads, limit how often you see them, prevent fraud and measure performance, Google may collect:

  • Device identifiers, such as an identifier limited to the Game or its developer. Not your advertising identifier, which the Game never requests.
  • Your IP address, which may be used to estimate your general (coarse) location
  • Your interactions with ads, such as views, taps and completed rewarded videos, and general app usage
  • Diagnostic information, such as crash and performance data

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Your choices

  • Consent (UK, EEA and Switzerland). Before any ads load, Google's consent message lets you accept or decline personalised ads.
  • Fewer ads. The one-time Remove Ads purchase removes banner and full-screen (pop-up) ads. Rewarded videos only play when you choose to watch one.
  • Data held by Google. See My Ad Center to manage how Google uses data for ads.

Personalised advertising relies on your consent, which you give or refuse in Google's consent message. Non-personalised advertising relies on our legitimate interest in keeping the Game free. Your game progress is processed only on your device, so we process no personal data for it.

6. Network use

You can play without an internet connection. The Game connects to the internet only to load ads and Google's consent message, and when Apple processes an App Store purchase. Without a connection, ads, including rewarded videos, are not available.

7. In-app purchases

Coin packs, Remove Ads and the Starter Pack are sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment under Apple's Privacy Policy. The Game only receives Apple's confirmation of what you bought, on your device, so it can deliver it. We do not receive your name, Apple Account or payment information.

8. Crash reports

If you have turned on Share With App Developers in iOS Settings (Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with us. These do not identify you. We use them only to fix bugs, and you can turn this off at any time.

9. This website and support emails

If you contact us by email or through a form on this website, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use this only to reply to you and help with your request. We keep it no longer than needed (normally up to 24 months), and never sell it or use it for marketing. Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security. This website sets one essential session cookie to protect forms from abuse, and uses no tracking cookies.

10. Data retention and deletion

We do not hold any data from the Game. You can remove all game data by deleting the Game, and it can't be recovered afterwards. Remove Ads and the Starter Pack can be restored with Restore purchases in the Shop; coin packs can't. For data held by Google, see My Ad Center. To have support emails you sent us deleted, email us.

11. Security

Your game data is protected by iOS app sandboxing and by your device's passcode encryption.

12. Your rights

Because we do not hold personal data about you from the Game, there is usually nothing for us to access or delete. Depending on where you live (for example under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, California law or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the use of your data, and to complain to a data protection authority. 13. Children

The Game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will help remove it.

14. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. For significant changes, we will also mention them in the Game's release notes.
