These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Screen Mirror app for iPhone (the "App") published by Apexa Pambhar ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Apple's Standard EULA
The App is licensed, not sold, to you through the Apple App Store. Your use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA") and the App Store Terms of Service. If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA applies to the extent of the conflict.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's Usage Rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, rent, sell or redistribute the App, except where the law expressly allows it.
3. TVs and compatibility
The App works with Chromecast devices and TVs with Google Cast built in, TVs with a web browser on the same Wi-Fi, and AirPlay through iOS. It does not support Miracast, which iPhone can't use. Some apps and websites block screen recording or protect their videos (for example many streaming services), and those show as black or silent on the TV; we can't change that. Picture quality and delay depend on your Wi-Fi, your TV and your iPhone. We don't guarantee that the App works with every TV or network.
4. Your content and responsible use
You are responsible for what you cast or mirror. Only cast content you have the right to show, and respect copyright and the terms of the apps and websites you use. Remember that everyone who can see the TV sees your screen, including notifications. Don't use the App to show other people's private information without their permission.
5. Ads
The App is free to download and is supported by ads served by Google AdMob. We don't control the content of individual ads and are not responsible for advertisers' products, services or websites. Tapping an ad may open another app or website, which has its own terms. How ad data is handled, and your consent choices, are explained in our Privacy Policy.
6. Pro subscription
Screen Mirror Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. The plans available, what Pro includes, its price and any free trial are shown in the App before you subscribe, and may vary by country. Without Pro, screen mirroring is limited to a number of free minutes each day.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends, if one is offered.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancel or change a plan at any time in iOS Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the App doesn't cancel a subscription.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you subscribe.
- Restore Pro on a new or reset device with the same Apple Account using Restore purchases in the App.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.
7. Third-party services
The App uses Google Cast (Google's Cast SDK), Apple's ReplayKit and AirPlay, a web browser with DuckDuckGo search, and ads and the consent message from Google through the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's User Messaging Platform. Websites you visit and TVs you cast to are run by others. These are subject to their providers' own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or content. Google Cast and Chromecast are trademarks of Google LLC, and AirPlay is a trademark of Apple Inc.; the App is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
8. Our intellectual property
The App, including its design, code, name, logo, icons and graphics, is owned by Apexa Pambhar and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. These Terms do not give you any rights to our trademarks.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information. In short: what you cast goes only from your iPhone to your TV over your Wi-Fi, the App never asks to track you, and ads are provided by Google AdMob.
10. Updates and availability
We may release updates to fix bugs, add or change features, or support new iOS versions and TVs. Some updates may be required to keep using the App. We may stop offering or supporting the App at any time, but this will not remove a copy you have already downloaded. If we stop offering Pro, existing subscriptions can be cancelled as described above.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with your TV or network. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding the App.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Apexa Pambhar will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including anything shown on a TV while you cast or mirror. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App and Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Apexa Pambhar harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the App, including content you cast or mirror, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
14. Apple-specific terms
These Terms are between you and Apexa Pambhar, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
15. Termination
Your license ends automatically if you breach these Terms. When it ends, you must stop using the App and delete it from your devices. Deleting the App doesn't cancel a subscription; cancel it as described in section 6.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of India, unless the consumer protection laws of your country give you the right to bring proceedings where you live.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the effective date above, and continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
